Solnex is a Solana-focused trading platform that lets users buy and sell SOL, USDC, and USDT directly inside Telegram, with trades settling in under thirty seconds. By leveraging Busha Business's unified payment APIs, Solnex collapsed the entire crypto transaction stack into Telegram commands, scaling from 100 to 1,500+ active users in six months.
Key Results
- 15x User Growth: Scaled from 100 users to 1,500+ active traders.
- Volume Velocity: Increased monthly transaction volume by 900% within 6 months of integrating Busha Business APIs.
- Speed Optimisation: Reduced time-to-trade from 30 minutes to under 30 seconds.
- Infrastructure Consolidation: Replaced a four-vendor stack with a single, unified Busha Business integration.
Challenge
Chukwuemeka Joshua and Isaac Oyelakin Semilore started Solnex to solve a problem they had both experienced firsthand as a memecoin trader on Solana.
In crypto markets, timing is everything. When a position flips, the ability to settle a trade instantly can mean the difference between an outsized gain and a total loss.
At the time, their only viable option was the peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace, a process too slow for the speed and urgency of crypto trading.
Together, they built the solution they needed: a Telegram bot that allowed users to trade Solana-based assets directly in chat, without delays or reliance on P2P marketplaces.
The concept was clear. Building the payment infrastructure behind it was not.
Operating from Nigeria immediately limited Solnex’s options.
“A lot of foreign platforms would reject our integration requests the moment they realised we were operating from Nigeria,” Chukwuemeka said.
The few that did onboard the business couldn’t support the full transaction flow, forcing Chukwuemeka to combine multiple providers just to keep the platform running.
In total, Solnex relied on four platforms: one for deposits, one for withdrawals, and separate systems for buying and selling. Every transaction had to pass through all four systems, each with its own delays, failures, and maintenance issues.
At first, with only a small number of users, the setup was manageable. But as Solnex grew, the system became harder to maintain. Manual reconciliations, constant integration issues, and recurring system failures made it impossible to scale beyond the first 100 users.
“The more people that came to Solnex, the more issues it created because we were juggling so many platforms at the same time,” he said.
Growth had become the bottleneck. What Solnex needed was a single-payment infrastructure capable of handling the entire transaction lifecycle for a crypto business in Nigeria.
Solution
In December 2025, Chukwuemeka came across a Busha Business ad while looking for a better option. “I saw how simple the setup looked, and when I checked it out, it was exactly what we needed,” he said.
Busha Business provided the infrastructure Solnex needed to scale. By connecting directly to Busha, Solnex could automate peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions on a single platform, processing large volumes of payments instantly without manual intervention.
“The integration was smooth. Once we set up the APIs and webhooks, everything just worked efficiently,” Chukwuemeka said.
Before this, Solnex had to route a single transaction through four separate systems. With Busha Business, the entire process now runs in one flow — payments, conversions, payouts, and real-time updates.
“With Busha Business, we were able to simplify everything into one system. It felt built for Solnex’s reality as a crypto business in Nigeria,” he said.
What Changed
1. One integration now handles the full transaction flow
Moving to Busha Business removed the operational overhead that had slowed Solnex down. Instead of juggling four different vendors, Solnex now uses a single API for pay-ins, conversions, and naira payouts end-to-end.
The result is a unified system that frees the team to focus on scaling their business rather than managing a complex web of integrations. Through real-time webhook updates, the Solnex bot stays perfectly in sync with every transaction, automatically tracking payments from 'pending' to 'completed'. This eliminates the need for manual checks and ensures the business runs flawlessly, even while the team is offline.
2. Volume grows 900% as infrastructure friction disappears
Since integrating Busha Business in December 2025, Solnex has processed approximately ₦200 million in total transactions — a figure Chukwuemeka attributes directly to the reliability of the underlying infrastructure.
“Without Busha Business, I’m not sure we would have been able to process this volume,” he said.
3. User growth scales without added operational load
Before Busha Business, every new user added more strain — more transactions meant more systems to manage, and more chances for things to break.
After switching, Solnex grew from about 100 users to 1,560, with a target of 2,000 by May 2026. The difference is that growth no longer increases operational overhead because the system can handle the load without breaking down or requiring manual intervention.
