At Busha, we recently unveiled a refreshed brand identity, marking a new chapter in how we present ourselves to the world. The new look was officially introduced during the Busha end-of-year company party on January 3, 2026. The refresh reflects how the product, our audience, and our ambition behind Busha have grown over time.
We sat down with Fiyin Adeniyi, our Brand Design Lead, to talk through the thinking behind the recent brand refresh. We asked him why the old identity no longer fit, what problem the new brand needed to solve, and how the new look is meant to make you feel when you see it or use the product.
Below are his answers, in his own words.
Why did the old brand no longer represent Busha today?
The old brand did its job at the time. It had energy, movement, and confidence. Those diagonal stripes made sense for a younger company that was focused on a smaller group of people.
Busha has grown since then. We now operate in more markets, work closely with regulators, and speak to a much wider audience. We want to serve people new to digital assets, not just those who already understand crypto.
The old identity felt like it belonged to a small circle. We needed a brand that would still make sense ten years from now. Something that feels established, steady, and built for scale. At this stage, that early startup energy no longer reflected who we are becoming.
What problem was the refresh meant to solve?
The biggest problem was complexity.
As financial products grow, things can easily become confusing. In finance, confusion breaks trust. Our old website and app assumed you already understood crypto. That assumption pushed people away.
If you land on a financial platform and feel lost, you leave. The refresh was about removing friction. We stripped back the language and reduced visual noise so you can understand what you are looking at without effort.
The goal was simple. When you arrive on Busha, you should immediately feel that it is a financial platform and that your money is safe.

What guided the new visual direction?
We anchored the work around clarity and confidence, with a strong focus on longevity.
The new mark tells a clear story. It combines two familiar ideas. A folded note that represents cash and traditional money, and a coin that represents digital assets. Together, they form the letter B.
The geometry is intentional and precise. The mark is meant to act as a bridge between the bank account you already trust and the digital tools you are exploring. That is what Busha does at its core.
Visually, the logo stays simple. It works just as well as a small app icon as it does on a large billboard. The more you look at it, the clearer it becomes.

How does the new brand reflect Busha’s values and the people it serves?
The heart of the new brand is inclusivity.
When you visit the new website, it feels like a clear front door. The language is plain and direct. You do not need insider knowledge to understand what is going on. That openness signals transparency.
In the app, we deliberately separated cash and digital assets. You always know where your money is and what it is doing. That design choice reflects our commitment to safety.
Busha is no longer trying to look like the coolest crypto app. The focus is on being a reliable partner for your wealth. Consistency across every screen reinforces that message. One product, one way of thinking, and a clear respect for your money.
What should you feel when you see or use the new brand?
You should feel possibilities.
From the range of money tools available to the quiet sense of progress tied to Busha Green, the brand is designed to make growth feel natural and within reach.
When you open the app, the interface stays calm. You can focus. Features appear when you need them, not all at once. That helps you move with confidence.
When you see the brand, you should feel a sense of stability. The connection between your bank account and digital assets should feel solid and considered. The end feeling we are aiming for is simple and direct.
Your money is safe here. Every detail has been thought through.
